Who we are
Tend Counselling is an organisation that sprouted from a dream, a lot of doubt but overall an ambition to make a difference. After struggling for a long time with my own mental health, access to therapy truly saved me and I’m sure my wonderful colleague Chloe would say the same. So we want to be that safe haven for others too, here’s a little about us!
Hello, I’m Leanne and I’m a counsellor at Tend Counselling. I have a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Practice and am a registered member of the BACP.
My approach focuses on building an empathetic, collaborative therapeutic relationship between my clients and myself. I am trained in a range of therapies including Psychodynamic, Person-Centred and CBT, meaning that our work together can change based on your individual experience. My approach aims to help you cope with overwhelming emotions in a warm, non-judgmental, safe space.
I am experienced in working with sexual trauma, grief and loss, inner child work, self-harm, couples counselling, anxiety and depression, neurodivergence and many more of life’s challenges. I have various tools to help develop your self-awareness and build strong, authentic relationships with those in your life.
If and when you’re ready to start your healing journey, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
Hello, I’m Chloe, a qualified counsellor with a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Practice and currently studying for my BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.
My approach is integrative, drawing primarily from person-centred and psychodynamic theories. This means I tailor our work together to suit your unique needs—whether that’s looking at past experiences that may still impact you today, or simply offering a compassionate presence as you navigate life’s challenges.
I have particular experience in supporting clients with anxiety, depression, neurodivergence (including ADHD and autism), birth trauma, and relationship issues. I understand that seeking support can feel daunting, especially if you're used to managing things on your own or if you don’t yet have experience of therapy. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you to find greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding.
If you’d like to know more about how I work or whether we’d be a good fit, feel free to get in touch—I’d be happy to hear from you.
